For the eighth year in a row, around 100 DTU Students participated in the Roskilde Festival as a part of their education. They made many different kinds of fields but mostly concerning making the festival more green, cleaner or more fun.
In 2017 the students came up with ideas to lower the food waste, cut the water use and smooth the electricity consumption which makes the dieselgenerators unnecessary. The students brought 100 color shifting LED-lamps to the camping site, which the festival participants had to assemble on their own. Furthermore the students came with 1000 natural glow sticks containing millions of microscopic algas glowing in the dark.
